Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the QC team at our West Falls location, ensuring products meet regulatory and customer requirements. You will report to the Quality Director, Commercial OE, and drive a right-first-time mindset across QA processes.

The role requires 7+ years in AS9100 manufacturing with strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills; experience with FAI, MSA, PPAP, and SPC is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Technology, or a similar discipline.
• 7+ years of quality experience in an AS9100 environment.
• Demonstrated leadership with cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QC team and set priorities aligned with business needs.
• Drive a quality culture and adherence to the quality management system.
• Develop and enforce QC procedures, inspection plans, and sampling methods.
• Oversee FAI (AS9102) processes and ensure completeness and repeatability.
• Ensure calibration and MSA/Gage R&R, supervise inspection equipment (CMM, optical systems, etc.).
• Monitor, report, and drive improvement metrics; lead root-cause analyses.
