Philip Morris International U.S. seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead QC laboratory activities and develop the QC strategy, ensuring systems are inspection-ready and compliant with standards and regulations.

You will drive safety culture, data integrity, and capability development while aligning QC with manufacturing and product-release needs. The role offers strategic leadership and a focus on continuous improvement across the lab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific, engineering, or technical field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience developing strategy, managing budgets, and leading organizational transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality systems, data integrity, investigations, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Fluent in English.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a culture of safety excellence throughout laboratory operations.
• Own the overall Quality Control program and ensure compliance with applicable quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
• Establish and maintain the strategic roadmap for laboratory systems, methods, technologies, and capability development.
• Ensure laboratory data integrity, validation programs, method suitability, and compliance systems remain effective and inspection-ready.
• Ensure QC effectively supports manufacturing schedules, product release needs, and business objectives.
• Drive improvements in laboratory turnaround times, capacity planning, workflow, and service performance.
• Own the QC operating budget and resource planning strategy.
• Identify and execute cost optimization opportunities while maintaining compliance and product quality.
• Create and sustain a culture of accountability, engagement, development, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
• Develop leadership capabilities with Team Leads and future leaders.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year QC roadmap aligned with business objectives.
