Job summary

Georg-Fischer is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the QMS and ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and company quality standards. You will direct quality inspectors, implement inspection plans, and drive continual improvement.

The role requires 5–10 years in manufacturing quality management, ISO 9001 experience, and strong leadership. Occasional travel and collaboration with engineering are expected for new product introductions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field.
• Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or CMQ/OE preferred.
• Minimum 5–10 years of progressive quality management experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and audit management.
• Experience with pipe, fittings, plastic fabrication, inspection, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS per ISO 9001 and company requirements.
• Lead internal, supplier, and customer quality audits.
• Manage CAPA process and corrective actions.
• Review engineering drawings, specs, and quality requirements for compliance.
• Monitor KPIs and perform statistical analysis for quality improvements.
• Lead quality training and mentor staff.
