Job summary

Traylor Bros., Inc. is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of the Quality Plan and QA/QC activities across heavy civil construction projects. You will support technical staff and manage on-site and fabrication QA/QC tasks.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering, 5–7 years of heavy civil construction experience, and a PE license. Willingness to travel to project sites and training sessions is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction or Engineering required.
• 5–7 years of heavy civil construction experience required.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Travel for training and meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inspection/testing records and QA/QC procedures.
• Develop quality reports, post-construction reports, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with contract plans and specs.
• Lead quality staff on-site and at fabrication sites.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality and profitability.
• Travel to project sites and meetings as required.
