Job summary

Innovative Consulting & Management Services (ICMS) seeks a Quality Control Manager with building operations or facilities experience to oversee the contractor's quality program and ensure project success on federal/state/government contracts. The role emphasizes developing the Quality Control Plan, conducting inspections, tracking deficiencies, and delivering compliant, high-quality services.

This is a full-time onsite position with responsibility for training, reporting, and process

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's preferred in business, facilities management, quality management, environmental services, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in building operations or facility services.
  • Minimum of 3 years of quality control, quality assurance, or inspection experience on commercial or Government facilities contracts.
  • Experience administering a Quality Control Plan (QCP) or similar quality management program.
  • Experience managing or inspecting multiple facility service disciplines (HVAC/mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Building maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Work order management, Environmental and safety compliance).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective Quality Control Program documented in a Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure services are performed in accordance with PWS.
  • Develop and implement procedures to identify and prevent recurrence of defective services.
  • Conduct scheduled and unscheduled inspections of services listed in the PWS.
  • Submit the QCP to the KO for acceptance within 30 calendar days after award and submit proposed changes five working days prior to implementation.
  • Identify performance deficiencies and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Track deficiencies through completion and verify corrective actions have been successfully implemented.
  • Prepare quality control reports, inspection logs, corrective action reports, and trend analyses.
  • Monitor compliance with all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements and performance metrics.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
  • Assist in developing employee training programs related to quality standards and contract compliance.
  • Participate in transition planning, startup activities, and quality audits.
  • Maintain records required by the contract for Government review.
  • Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

ICMS is looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager (Building Operations or Facilities) who is responsible for the contractor's quality control program.

Duties and Responsibilities

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's or bachelor’s degree in business, Facilities Management, Quality Management, Environmental Services, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in building operations or facility services.
  • Minimum of 3 years of quality control, quality assurance, or inspection experience on commercial or Government facilities contracts.
  • Experience administering a Quality Control Plan (QCP) or similar quality management program.
  • Experience managing or inspecting multiple facility service disciplines, such as: HVAC/mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Building maintenance, Preventive maintenance, Work order management, and Environmental and safety compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities in English.
Licenses and Certifications
  • A valid state’s driver's license (with no major infractions) is required
  • OSHA 30-Hour training
  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification preferred but not required preferred
Security Clearance

Minimum investigation at a Public Trust level required.

Job Type

Full-Time Onsite Position (Telecommute not considered for this position)

Work schedules are subject to change based on client and company needs. As a management position, this person will be on call regularly and be available for and respond to emergencies off shift.

*This is a contingent hire position based upon the award of contract.
