Job summary

Concrete Careers is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead QA/QC programs across our precast manufacturing operations in Wisconsin. You will ensure products meet PCI, ACI, ASTM and customer specifications while partnering with production, engineering, and operations to drive quality, safety, and efficiency.

You will mentor Quality Control Technicians, oversee inspections and testing, and maintain thorough quality documentation, records, and compliance throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of quality control experience in concrete manufacturing or precast operations.
• Experience interpreting shop drawings, specs, and technical documents.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience with PCI, ACI, ASTM standards or equivalent is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA/QC activities to ensure PCI, ACI, ASTM and customer specs are met.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and operations to improve quality, safety and efficiency.
• Mentor and develop Quality Control Technicians.

We're seeking an experienced quality leader with a strong background in precast concrete manufacturing, quality assurance, and production operations to join our team as a Quality Control Manager. In this role, you'll lead quality programs, ensure compliance with industry standards, and drive continuous improvement across our precast manufacturing operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee all quality assurance and quality control activities for our facility, ensuring products meet PCI, ACI, ASTM, regulatory, and customer specifications.
• Partner with production, engineering, and operations teams to maintain the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Quality Control Technicians
• Oversee inspections, testing, and quality monitoring throughout production
• Ensure compliance with PCI, ACI, ASTM, and company quality standards
• Manage concrete mix designs and optimize for performance, quality, and cost
• Collaborate with plant operations, engineering, and project teams
• Maintain quality documentation, test reports, and compliance records

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of quality control experience
• Experience in concrete manufacturing, precast operations, or batch plant quality control
• Background in construction, building materials, or industrial manufacturing
• Ability to interpret shop drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
