Job summary

Sauer Corporate Services LLC is seeking a qualified QC Manager to oversee the CQC plan for a Norfolk Naval Station project. The role grants full authority over QC matters on site, coordinating with subcontractors and client representatives to ensure compliance and high quality results.

Responsibilities include managing inspections, documenting QC data daily, and leading weekly QCM meetings. Must have DoD project experience and relevant certifications to ensure project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering.
• 5 years’ DOD experience with projects larger than $10M.
• Certificate for Construction Quality Management for Contractors from USACE.
• 30 Hour OSHA in construction.
• Excellent knowledge of quality control inspection standards, procedures and codes.

• Plan days and weeks in advance.
• Be detail driven and communicate effectively with client/subcontractors.
• Lead QCM weekly meetings and instill client confidence in QC operations.
• Perform and coordinate inspections and review submittals.

• Apply experience with high-end renovations.
• Complete required daily documentation.

Job description

Position Summary

Person will be responsible for taking full control of CQC plan for Sauer on a project at the Norfolk Naval Station VA. Person will be responsible for overall management of the CQC plan and having full authority to act in all QC matters.

Essential Functions

• Capable of coordinating with many Subcontractors
• Efficient/Able to plan days, weeks in advance
• Detail driven
• Skillful communicator with client/subcontractors
• Able to conduct QCM weekly meeting in a highly professional manner and instill confidence in client in the QC operations
• Perform/coordinate inspections
• Upload and manage QC data on a daily basis
• Experience with high end renovations
• Perform submittal review functions
• Proficient completing required daily documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
• Candidate must have 5 years’ DOD experience with projects larger than 10 million with

strong administrate experience.

• Certificate for “Construction Quality Management for Contractors” from USACE
• 30 Hour OSHA in construction
• Excellent knowledge of quality control inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
