Job summary

North American Calendering seeks an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead the quality management system at our Mansfield, Texas manufacturing facility. The role owns product quality, process control, supplier quality and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will drive continual improvement, reduce defects and scrap, and ensure all products meet customer specifications and applicable industry standards.

Qualifications

• Five years in quality management or quality engineering in rubber/plastics or related materials.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS 9100 and/or IATF16949 preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with ability to hire, train, and manage a quality team.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain, and continuously improve the Quality Management System.
• Establish and monitor inspection procedures for in-process, incoming, and final checks.
• Manage corrective and preventative actions.
• Oversee supplier quality interface, returns handling, and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain quality documents.
• Prepare and host internal, customer and third-party audits.

• Manage corrective and preventative actions.
• Manage supplier quality interface, manage returns and drive corrective action.
• Develop and maintain quality documents.
• Prepare and host internal, customer and third party audits

Qualifications

• Five years in quality management or quality engineering in the rubber, plastics, or related materials experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001, AS 9100 and/or IATF16949 preferred.
