Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering.
• 5 years’ DOD experience and 10 years’ experience as a QC Manager on similar projects.
• Certificate for "Construction Quality Management for Contractors" from USACE.
• 30 Hour OSHA in construction.
• Excellent knowledge of quality control inspection standards, procedures and applicable codes required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

QUALITY CONTROL MANAGER

Position Summary

Person will be responsible for taking full control of CQC plan for Sauer on a project at the Norfolk Naval Station VA. Person will be responsible for overall management of the CQC plan and having full authority to act in all QC matters.

Essential Functions

• Capable of coordinating with many Subcontractors
• Efficient/Able to plan days, weeks in advance
• Detail driven
• Skillful communicator with client/subcontractors
• Able to conduct QCM weekly meeting in a highly professional manner and instill confidence in client in the QC operations
• Perform/coordinate inspections
• Upload and manage QC data on a daily basisExperience with high end renovations
• Perform submittal review functions
• Proficient completing required daily documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or engineering
• Candidate must have 5 years’ DOD experience 10 years’ experience as a QC Manager on similar projects
