Position: Quality Control Licensed Inspector

The Quality Control Licensed Inspector plays a vital role in maintaining high-quality standards and ensuring compliance with GA Telesis processes. This individual will oversee that all MRO activities meet regulatory standards, internal procedures, and manufacturer specifications. Responsibilities include inspecting aircraft, components, and documentation for airworthiness, safety, and quality compliance. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Quality Control and Projects, the ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, reliable, and capable of multitasking. This is a full-time position based in Medley, Florida.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and NDI/NDT inspections of landing gear components and assemblies.
  2. Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products for compliance with OEM manuals, work instructions, and regulations.
  3. Verify documentation such as repair orders, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives.
  4. Accurately record inspection findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions.
  5. Conduct audits and quality checks throughout the repair process.
  6. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
  7. Maintain calibration status of measuring tools and test equipment.
  8. Support internal and external audits, including FAA and customer inspections.
  9. Adhere to safety protocols, quality procedures, and company policies.
  10. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
  1. High School diploma or GED required.
  2. 1-2 years of Quality Control Inspector experience.
  3. Valid FAA A&P License required.
  4. Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
  5. Additional certifications (EASA Part 66, AS9100, ISO 9001) are a plus.
  6. Strong understanding of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145), EASA requirements, and OEM manuals.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic math skills.
  8. Effective communication skills (oral and written).
  9. Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
  10. Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  11. Organizational, analytical, and administrative skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  1. Experience with Quantum Software.
  2. Background in landing gear systems.
  3. Experience in an MRO, airline maintenance, or OEM environment.
  4. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting.
