Job summary

SRM Concrete seeks a Quality Control Manager to lead our quality programs for ready-mix concrete products. You will build and mentor a team of technicians, drive QA initiatives, and collaborate across departments to exceed client expectations on commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in QC management for ready mix, strong concrete knowledge, and proficiency with QA software and MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Ready Mix Concrete QC management experience.
• ACI certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of concrete technology, testing methods, and QA best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized analyses of raw materials, in-process, and finished concrete products using industry-standard methods.
• Interpret test results, compare findings to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations for product release.
• Perform visual inspections of finished products to ensure compliance with all quality standards and specifications.
• Collaborate with production, operations, sales, and technical services teams to identify and resolve production challenges affecting quality.
• Develop and implement quality control training programs for production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate, organized records of tests, analyses, and quality-related activities.
• Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and regulations in the concrete industry to recommend enhancements to quality control processes.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire your team to uphold SRM’s reputation for excellence.
