dsm-firmenich in Schenectady, NY is seeking a Lead Technician in Quality Control to analyze and test raw materials, intermediates, and finished products under GMP. You will release tests per compendia, validate methods, and support QA tasks within our Health, Nutrition and Care unit.

The role requires 1–2 years of lab experience with HPLC/ICP/IR, knowledge of GMP, and ability to work independently on multiple tasks. Competitive hourly pay and full benefits are provided.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred or Associates with relevant lab experience.
• 1-2 years of lab experience with instrumentation (HPLC, ICP, IR).
• Broad knowledge of QC techniques, GMP rules, and lab safety.

Responsabilidades

• Autonomous execution of analyses in the laboratory.
• Prepare standards, mobile phases, and reagents.
• Maintain, calibrate, validate, monitor, and troubleshoot lab equipment (HPLC, ICP, IR, etc.).
• Analyze materials, intermediates, stability samples, and finished products for required tests.
• Perform data collection, calculations, and reporting readiness.
• Orient and train new colleagues.
• Perform administrative lab tasks like updating specifications and SOPs.
• Investigate OOS/NI and support colleagues in investigations.
