dsm-firmenich seeks a Senior Technician, Quality Control Lab Technician in Schenectady, NY. Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4pm with some start-time flexibility. Pay range $25.00–$28.00 per hour, plus a broad rewards package and benefits from day one.

The role focuses on logging and testing samples, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with GMP and SOPs. Ideal candidates have 0–3 years of lab experience and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of lab experience.
• General knowledge of quality control techniques.
• Understanding of safety, laboratory hygiene and GMP rules.
• Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Food manufacturing a plus (or dietary supplements, premix etc.).

Responsabilités

• Logs incoming production and raw material samples for analytical testing.
• Reviews data to ensure accuracy prior to reporting.
• Performs administrative lab tasks, such as updating SOPs.
• Keeps supervisor informed of work status and suggests follow-up action to resolve atypical results and any problems encountered.
• Maintains good documentation practices.
• Ensures incidents are investigated, reported, and risks are assessed in a timely basis.
• Acts in a way that safety awareness and accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks.
