Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Quality Control Manager to lead QC staff and processes for a large pharmaceutical project in Kenosha, Wisconsin. You will govern submittal reviews, enforce the QC Plan, and drive non-conformance resolution while ensuring safety and project quality.

The role requires a BS in Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management and a minimum of 10 years in construction, with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management ideal.
• Minimum 10 years construction experience, highly prefer 4 as QC Manager.

Responsibilities

• Interface with client representatives and subcontractors professionally.
• Review designs and provide feedback to designers.
• Manage technical reviews of submittals against design documents and status.
• Implement QC Plan requirements and ensure records are generated and managed.
• Identify deficiencies and monitor corrective actions.
• Coordinate and document commissioning and inspections.
• Manage project closeout and turnover of documents.
• Trains direct reports on processes and daily tasks.
• Foster a positive, inclusive work environment.
