Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management.
• 7 years construction experience; 2 years as QC Manager.
• Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assure all project QC activities and project-specific documents are onsite.
• Review subcontractor quality plans for compliance to requirements.
• Inspect work conformance to contract and design documents.
• Understand drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate and implement the Three Phase Control System.
• Develop daily quality control reports, meeting minutes, and assist with post-construction reports.
• Use Submittal Register to track and ensure materials are approved timely.
• Manage in-depth technical reviews of submittals against design documents.
• Initiate deficiencies and non-conformances and monitor corrective actions.
• Stop work if necessary to resolve safety, quality, or design non-compliance.
• Verify materials received match approved submittals and complete inspections.
• Coordinate, witness, and document 3rd party testing and commissioning.
• Document all tests and results; coordinate completion inspection processes.
• Manage timely project closeout and turnover of documents.
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
• Support a positive and inclusive work environment.
