Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road, a leading U.S. construction firm, seeks a Quality Control Manager in San Antonio, TX. You will lead QC activities on projects, enforce quality standards, and guide field and office teams toward safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred; Associate's with 8–10 years direct experience may substitute.
• Certification in soils, concrete, and hot mix asphalt testing preferred.
• PE license, NICET Level IV, or EIT with 2+ years experience preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of FAA and TxDOT specifications.
• Experience supervising, training, and developing Quality Control Technicians.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the quality control functions at assigned project(s).
• Manage and implement quality control standards and oversee inspection of production output for customer specifications.
• Develop Quality Control Technicians and monitor their work.
• Create a career path for QC/QA Technicians on your projects.
• Evaluate and recommend resources needed to meet quality goals.
