Job summary

Radiant in El Segundo, CA, is seeking a Quality Control Manager to build and lead our inspection, nonconformance, and metrology operations as we scale from development to production of nuclear microreactors.

You will own end-to-end inspection, develop advanced capabilities, and collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to embed quality verification into design and production, enabling reliable, mass-produced reactors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
7+ years in Quality Control or metrology in precision hardware.
Experience leading technical teams and building inspection capabilities.
Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T, and precision measurement technologies.
Hands-on experience with inspection planning and nonconformance control.
Willingness to work extended hours and 100% onsite at El Segundo.

Responsibilities

Build and lead the Quality Control organization and the operating structure.
Own end-to-end inspection across receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
Develop scalable inspection strategies and capabilities.
Lead nonconforming material control and dispositions.
Advance metrology and calibration capabilities.
Build future inspection infrastructure and plan the next-generation facility.
Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to embed quality verification.
Drive continuous improvement of inspection efficiency, nonconformance control, and digital quality systems.
