Job summary

Radiant Industries, based in El Segundo, CA, seeks a Quality Control Manager to build and lead a new quality function as we scale production of nuclear microreactors. You will own inspection, metrology, nonconformance control, and calibration programs, growing a high-performing team and establishing advanced inspection capabilities to support repeatable, safe production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related technical field or equivalent industry experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Quality Control, inspection, metrology, or manufacturing quality in a precision hardware environment.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and building inspection capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of GD&T, engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, inspection methods, and precision measurement technologies.
• Hands-on experience with inspection planning, nonconformance control, metrology, and calibration management.
• Ability to collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Radiant's Quality Control organization.
• Own end-to-end inspection execution across receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
• Develop scalable inspection strategies and capabilities across stages of production.
• Lead nonconforming material control and ensure proper documentation and dispositions.
• Establish and advance metrology and calibration capabilities with trusted measurement systems.
• Build Radiant's future inspection infrastructure and plan next-generation facilities.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to integrate quality verification into design and production.
• Drive continuous improvement of inspection efficiency, nonconformance control, and digital quality systems.
