Job summary

Radiant is seeking a Quality Control Manager in El Segundo, CA to build and lead the inspection, nonconformance control, and metrology operations as production scales. You will own capabilities that verify hardware, identify issues early, and control nonconforming products before releases.

This builder role emphasizes growing a high-performing team, establishing advanced inspection capabilities, and shaping the future inspection facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in quality control, inspection, metrology or manufacturing quality.
• Proven track record in leading technical teams and building inspection capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T and metrology technologies.
• Hands-on with inspection planning, nonconformance control and calibration.
• Ability to collaborate across Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead Radiant's Quality Control organization to support production.
• Own end-to-end inspection across receiving, in-process, and final checks.
• Develop scalable inspection strategies and maintain quality records.
• Lead nonconforming material control and disposition processes.
• Establish metrology and calibration capabilities and verify measurements.
• Plan and equip future inspection facilities and improve digital quality systems.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain to embed quality.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational performance during scale-up.
