Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a quality-focused technician to perform routine tests on materials and finished products in an industrial manufacturing setting in Michigan. You will participate in daily compression tests, inspections, and production monitoring to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards.

You will lead a small team, document material reports, and liaise with State DOT agencies and certification bodies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Quality control experience in related industry.
• ACI/PCI certification preferred or obtainable within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Assist pipe crew with strip, setup, and pouring of products.
• Report to management on process improvements, mistakes, and quality concerns.
• Oversee a team of 3–4 individuals.
• Receive and file raw material reports for documentation.
• Coordinate with State DOT agencies, ACI, NPCA.
