Job summary

Oldcastle, a CRH company, seeks a versatile QC technician for our concrete production environment. The role involves routine material testing and process monitoring in both indoor and outdoor manufacturing spaces.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, quality control experience, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. ACI/PCI certification is preferred or must be earned within 3 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Quality control experience in related industry is required or preferred.
• ACI/PCI Certification is preferred, or must pass ACI Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimens.
• Perform daily pre/post pour inspections on products.
• Monitor production operations as required.
• Assist when necessary with strip, setup, and pouring of products.
• Report to management team on process improvements, repetitive mistakes, and quality concerns.
