Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC seeks a BSA Quality Control Assistant Manager to lead product validation, drive data-driven improvements, and ensure quality standards through root cause analysis and robust reporting.

You will manage defect reporting, oversee torque audits with SPC tools, supervise 5-S in QC, coordinate supplier audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to sustain continuous quality improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (Quality/Engineering preferable).
• 5+ years of experience in quality control/assurance or related sectors.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control and Assurance: document control plans, lead product validation, develop quality documentation, monitor quality, oversee torque audits with SPC tools, and prepare quality reports.
• Defect Analysis & Continuous Improvement: analyze defects, validate findings with inspection tools, drive data-driven improvements, document results, and initiate corrective actions.
• Data Analysis And Trend Tracking: track trends, identify risks, and propose preventive measures.
• Reliability Test Management: manage reliability testing activities, ensure ISIR and 4M changes align with requirements, and support validation timelines.
• 5-S Standards Maintenance: maintain organized, safe workplaces within QC.
• Communication And Collaboration: work with cross-functional teams and management on quality, safety, and operations.
