Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a QC Technician to observe fabrication of precast concrete structures and ensure compliance with standards and production drawings. You will also perform daily concrete testing in line with state regulations and company quality standards.

Responsibilities include daily testing, inspections, record-keeping, and communicating quality concerns to the team. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in an industrial environment on site in Michigan.

Qualifications

• Minimum QC experience in a related industry.
• ACI/PCI certification preferred or required to pass testing within 3 months.
• At least 3 years of concrete experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate with the team.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.
• Industrial walking in a manufacturing environment is common.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily testing of concrete specimens.
• Conduct daily pre- and post-pour inspections of products.
• Maintain records of observations for every structure produced.
• Report process improvements and quality concerns to production, engineering and management.
• Write a Corrective Action Report for defective products.
• Assist sales with responding to customer quality complaints.
• Ensure correct implementation of QC program in Kenosha.
• Other duties as assigned.
