Job summary

Kelly Science is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Assistant to support analytical and microbiology QC laboratories at a premier manufacturing client in Lititz, PA. The role offers a fixed early shift with a value-driven environment and a one-year assignment likely to extend.

You will process and inspect glassware, handle samples, manage consumables, and log results into LIMS, contributing to safety and quality within a regulated setting.

Qualifications

• Hold a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Are able to work independently under moderate supervision.
• Can repeatedly lift 25–30 lbs and walk moderate distances.
• Demonstrate strong time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Are proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams).
• Have experience in GLP or GMP laboratory settings (preferred).
• Have 1–2 years previous Quality experience.

Responsibilities

• Support QC Laboratories (Analytical and Microbiology) by processing and inspecting laboratory glassware.
• Retrieve and deliver samples for testing from manufacturing areas.
• Dispose of laboratory waste and expired materials according to procedures.
• Conduct inspections of retain samples and assist with annual checks.
• Manage laboratory consumables, reagents, and standards via the KanBan system.
• Receive, unpack, store, and organize consumables and reagents.
• File packing slips and place items in designated storage locations.
• Perform regular expiration checks and dispose of expired lab materials.
• Participate in 5S initiatives to maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Operate within departmental SOPs and regulatory guidance.
• Dispose of completed raw material and finished goods samples.
• Assist lab administration by logging samples into LIMS.

/Pay Rate: $24.49–$25.49/hour

Shift: 6:00am – 2:30pm (Monday to Friday; hours are set, not flexible)

Length of Assignment: One year, likely to extend

Must be able to supply own laptop
