Job summary

CRH is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Associate in Texas to monitor and document compliance with the AGP Total Quality Control Program and QC specifications. You will perform lab testing, sieve and moisture analyses, color matching, weight checks, and maintain quality records in Excel.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, familiarity with lab equipment, and strong numerical/communication skills. On-site role with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent vocational training.
• Familiar with lab equipment and accuracy in data recording.
• Knowledge of ASTM standards for concrete products is preferred.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs laboratory testing and documents results per requirements.
• Performs sieve analysis on aggregates and related products regularly.
• Performs moisture content analysis and color matching by wet methods.
• Monitors weights with checkweighers and records 80 lb test weights daily.
• Enters data into Excel and maintains quality records for audits.
• Notifies Plant Manager of non-conforming products and reports daily activity.
• Supports internal and external audits and compiles reports.
