Job summary

Dow is seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician in Marietta, GA. The role involves testing chemical products, following SOPs, and performing analyses (titration, GC, LC, NIR, FTIR) with multi-tasking on a rotating shift, including overtime and weekends.

You will maintain quality records in LIMS and ECC, coordinate with SAP for specifications, and participate in safety and process improvement initiatives at the Marietta Systems House.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or higher in a related field is required or a combination of high school diploma with 3+ years qualitative lab experience.
• Willingness to work different shifts to cover overtime and weekends is required.
• Experience with lab equipment and method development including titration, UV-Vis, FTIR, GC, HPLC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test chemical products safely according to SOPs.
• Update and improve SOPs as needed.
• Perform titration, GC, LC, NIR, FTIR and related analyses; troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain quality records in LIMS and ECC and manage data accurately.
• Interface with SAP to manage product specs and inspection plans.
• Be part of cross-functional plant teams and adapt to rotating shifts and overtime.
