Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $20.00/hr

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE WORKING IN A MANUFACTURING SETTING.

Connect Staffing is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Quality Control Lab Technician to support quality operations for a growing plastic processing facility!

Schedule: Monday-Friday (Open Availability)

Rotating Schedule:1st shift for the first 8 weeks; 2 shift for 6 weeks; 3rd shift for 6 weeks.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience working in a plastic manufacturing or lab testing environment is preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Comfortable using computers and Windows-based systems.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Available for flexible work hours, rotating shifts, and overtime if needed.
• Strong math skills, including working with fractions, decimals, millimeters, and inches.
• Ability to work in environments with temperature extremes.
• Prior experience in roles such as lab technician, quality control technician, production technician, or materials tester.

Responsibilities

• Receive, label, and store samples for testing
• Perform quality tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
• Record test results and maintain daily work logs and equipment records
• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment and supplies
• Maintain a clean and organized lab (sweeping, mopping, waste removal, etc.)
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Perform other duties as assigned
