Job summary

US Aggregates is seeking aQuality Control Technician to inspect, sample, and conduct routine and special laboratory testing on construction aggregate materials. The role includes troubleshooting at field sites, maintaining records, and verifying results with outside agencies.

The position requires INDOT-related certifications, the ability to work evenings and weekends, and a team-oriented mindset. Indianapolis-based company with multiple operations across Indiana.

Qualifications

• High School or Equivalent required.
• INDOT certification and related certifications preferred.
• Experience with INDOT and CAPP preferred.
• MSHA training preferred.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Positive attitude and ability to work as a team member.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends when needed.

Responsibilities

• Gather quality samples from large aggregate stockpiles.
• Perform INDOT-required quality testing and maintain paperwork and records.
• Maintain lab, stairs, and catwalk cleanliness and safety.
• Verify test results and coordinate with outside testing agencies as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues on field and jobsite locations and recommend corrective actions.
• Grow in alignment with company values and skills.
