Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a QC Lab Technician (Luna/Terrell) to provide inspection, testing services, and documentation for plant facilities. Develop relationships with customers, facility managers, and state DOT personnel to ensure QA compliance and accurate mix adjustments.

The role focuses on evaluating volumetric data for mix production, maintaining test results, and supporting a safe, compliant lab environment.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• DOT certifications required to test asphalt as per state regulations.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, sample, and test aggregates, asphalt, or other materials for quality control.
• Prepare and record accurate test results; maintain database.
• Maintain all laboratory equipment and keep certification paperwork up to date.
• Follow quality control plans, safety policies, and manager directions.
• Develop relationships with customers, facility managers, and DOT/state personnel.
