Job summary

APAC Central in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Quality Control Supervisor to lead the daily QC Lab and field-testing efforts for asphalt, concrete, and aggregates. You will manage a team of technicians, ensure all materials meet safety and performance specs, and influence construction quality across major projects.

Ideal candidates have a 4+ year background in QC, solid knowledge of ASTM/AASHTO standards, and the ability to drive tests in lab and field settings, with a valid driver's license and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4+ years in Quality Control).
• Solid understanding of construction material testing standards (ASTM, AASHTO, etc.).
• Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Comfortably using lab equipment, nuclear gauges, and working in both lab and field settings.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervising daily lab activities, including technician training and equipment/supply requisition.
• Overseeing and conducting lab testing on asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
• Designing and submitting mix designs for asphalt, concrete, and aggregates.
• Performing field testing including core sampling, density testing (nuclear gauge), and more.
• Handling all material certifications for internal and external clients.
• Acting as the main contact for DOTs, city/county agencies, and independent labs.
• Advising supervisors on test results and alerting them to deficiencies.
• Providing technical data and product information to sales and clients.
• Maintaining accurate documentation of results, reports, and communication.
