Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Quality Control Technician in New Jersey to support GMP-compliant QC operations. You will log reagents and materials into inventory and SAP, review equipment logs, and collect samples for testing against approved procedures.

The ideal candidate has a chemistry-related degree, 0–2 years in a GMP/QC lab, and proficiency with Word and Excel, plus strong attention to detail and strict documentation practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
• 0–2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated environment or Quality Control laboratory.
• Previous laboratory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow laboratory procedures and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Receive and log reagents, consumables, chromatographic columns, and delivered materials into inventory systems and SAP.
• Review laboratory equipment logbooks for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
• Collect and document samples of excipients and packaging components.
• Perform dimensional testing of packaging components according to approved procedures.
• Test Purified Water for Total Organic Carbon (TOC), Conductivity, and Nitrate.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records and follow applicable GMP and quality requirements.
