Job summary

Janco, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to perform first article and in-process inspections on medical devices and packaging materials on site in Rollinsford, NH. The role requires reading drawings, using measurement tools, and maintaining QC records.

The position is full-time and hourly, with a 7:00 am to 3:30 pm schedule, and offers benefits including health, dental, 401(k), PTO, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must read and follow quality management objectives and manufacturing procedures.
• Fluent in English for communication and safety documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and build sheets.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and QC lab requirements.
• Must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 45 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials for conformity to specifications.
• Inspect medical devices and packaging materials.
• Check-in tooling and verify proper documentation.
• Ensure quarantine and placement of non-conforming products.
• Perform first article, in-process and final inspections with appropriate measurement tools.
• Create and complete first article inspections and waivers.
• Conduct dock audits and related testing; collect retains for first article.
• Prepare certificate of conformance and maintain inspection records.
• Conduct clean room air particle and bio-sampling testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• First piece, in-process and final inspection of product using appropriate measurement tools.
• Create and complete first article inspections and waivers.
• Complete dock audits, bust and peel testing, and collect retains for first article.
• Prepare certificate of conformance.
• Maintain records for inspection and reference.
• Clean room air particle testing and bio-sampling testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Must be fluent in English for communication and reading safety instructions, procedures, and customer orders and parts.
• Ability to review and understand QMS procedures, protocols and instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and build sheets.
• Knowledge of measurement tools and equipment, and QC Lab requirements.
• Knowledge of sampling plans and tolerances and recognizing critical tolerances and dimensions.
  
• Must be able to stand long periods of time and walk continuously through assigned areas.
• Must be able to wear facial mask, and gowning equipment including booties, gowns/jackets, gloves, eye protection when applicable, hair net, and facial hair net if/when applicable.
• Must be able to lift 45lbs occasionally and 25lbs regularly.
