IES Infrastructure seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector for the second shift in Rock Hill, SC. You will inspect fabricated steel tanks, read drawings, and document findings to ensure conformance with engineering specs and customer requirements.

Responsibilities include in-process and final inspections, leak testing, and maintaining accurate records. Travel and overtime may be required to meet production needs; background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Experience inspecting welded steel products.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
• Proficient with measuring equipment and documenting results.
• Must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated steel tanks and welded assemblies.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, dimensions, tolerances, procedures, and work instructions.
• Inspect fittings, openings, mounting locations, supports, and tank components for correct placement and installation.
• Perform tank leak testing following approved procedures and safety precautions.
• Use inspection tools to measure and verify product quality.
• Document inspection/test results, including measurements, defects, photos, and IDs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and quality standards.

Position Summary

Technibus is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our second-shift manufacturing team in Rock Hill, SC. In this role, you will inspect fabricated steel tanks and related components used in power generation systems for mission-critical data centers. The ideal candidate has experience inspecting welded steel products, reading fabrication drawings, using measuring equipment, and documenting inspection results. This position requires sound judgment, clear communication, and a commitment to identifying quality concerns throughout production and verifying that completed products meet approved engineering drawings, customer specifications, and company quality standards.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final inspections of fabricated steel tanks, welded assemblies, and related components.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, dimensions, tolerances, inspection procedures, and work instructions.
• Inspect fittings, openings, mounting locations, supports, and other tank components for correct placement and installation.
• Perform tank leak testing as assigned, following approved procedures and required safety precautions.
• Use tape measures, squares, calipers, weld gauges, pressure gauges, torque wrenches, and other inspection equipment appropriate to the task.
• Accurately document inspection and test results, including measurements, defects, photographs, and product identification.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures, inspection requirements, and quality standards.
