Job summary

Bossier Chamber of Commerce is seeking a Quality Control Specialist in Minden, LA to perform comprehensive inspections across steel components, welds, coatings, concrete, assemblies and electrical systems. You will verify conformance to specifications and assist in documentation and reporting.

You will work with engineering, production and maintenance to identify defects and drive corrective actions, supporting continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

• Experience in manufacturing quality control or process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections on steel components, welds, coatings, concrete, assemblies and electrical systems.
• Verify compliance with design specs, industry standards and internal QMS.
• Interpret CAD drawings and technical work instructions.
• Maintain and update quality documentation and inspection records.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and maintenance to resolve quality issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization.
• Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and related standards (e.g., ASME).
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions.
