Job summary

Benteler Automotive Corporation in Shreveport, LA, is seeking an Entry-Level Quality Assurance professional to join our Quality Management team. You will help ensure products meet customer requirements, inspect processes, and monitor product quality from in-process to finished goods.

Responsibilities include preparing quality documentation, supporting investigations of customer complaints, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or related field.
• Adaptability (i.e., ability to work rotating shifts).
• Preferably 2+ years in Quality Control/Assurance in seamless steel tube manufacturing.
• Certified NDT Level I - UT, MPI, ET a plus.
• Knowledge of API/ASTM/TS/ISO standards preferred.
• Must manage all aspects of product inspection.
• Knowledge of SAP-QM and MES/AIP systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product meets or exceeds customer requirements and expectations, overseeing quality of in-process and final products.
• Inspect product process.
• Monitor details of every product manufactured and ensure defect-free delivery.
• Prepare Quality documentation and reports.
• Support Investigation of customer complaints.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to improve product quality and production.
• Support process improvement.
• Support audits (internal and external) of product/process.
• Determine system improvements; implement changes.
• Facilitate communication between Quality, Operations, and other departments as necessary.
• Improve manufacturing processes to ensure higher-quality goods.
• Support safety culture implementation.
