Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Beloit, WI is seeking a Quality Control Inspector for the mid shift to ensure products meet quality standards throughout production.

You will inspect materials and finished goods, measure dimensions with rulers and tape, document findings, and communicate issues to supervisors. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, about one year of fabrication or inspection experience, and a pre-employment drug screen; training and benefits provided.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 12 months of experience in fabrication or quality inspection, or educational equivalent of a two-year degree.
  • Satisfactory result on a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect materials, processes, and finished products for quality.
  • Measure product dimensions using rulers and tape measures to verify accuracy.
  • Identify and reject non-conforming materials or products while documenting discrepancies and quality concerns.
  • Notify supervisors of quality issues, recurring defects, or production trends requiring corrective action.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports outlining findings, recommendations, and repair requirements.
  • Enter inspection data into ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools for tracking, reporting, and analysis.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives by maintaining consistent inspection standards and documentation practices.
