Palmer-Donavin in Beloit, WI is seeking a Production Associate who reads work orders, identifies door specifications, and prepares materials for production. The role involves fabricating and assembling fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products while upholding quality, safety, and efficiency.

You should have attention to detail and a mechanical aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced environment. The shift is Sunday through Thursday, 2pm–10:30pm, with overtime as needed; pay starts at $23.65 per hour

Responsibilities

• Read work orders to determine door specifications and required components.
• Locate, pull, and modify door slabs and parts to meet custom order specifications.
• Use hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products.
• Move doors and materials between production stations and handle up to 75 pounds.
• Inspect completed work for defects and correct issues.
• Perform shop cleanup, light maintenance, and other duties to support production.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment per safety procedures.

This role involves fabricating and assembling fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products while maintaining quality standards, operational efficiency, and workplace safety throughout the manufacturing process.

Success in this role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, safe material handling, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.

Shift: Sunday - Thursday 2pm - 10:30pm (overtime as business requires).

Pay: $23.65/hr+

Key Responsibilities:

• Read work orders to determine door specifications and required components.
• Locate, pull, and modify door slabs and parts to meet custom order specifications.
• Use hand and power tools, including routers, saws, drills, and nailers, to fabricate and assemble fiberglass, aluminum, and wood products.
• Move doors and materials between production stations, including handling products weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Inspect completed work for defects, production errors, and quality concerns while making necessary corrections.
• Perform shop cleanup, light maintenance, and other assigned duties to support daily production operations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following established safety procedures and operational standards.
