Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Quality Control Technician to oversee QA of service requests and ensure accurate data in YARDI. You will partner with the Facilities Manager to verify LHS priorities and drive timely, high-quality completions.

The role requires strong maintenance experience, attention to detail, and the ability to train technicians while travelling up to 10% as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience in residential construction, facility maintenance or property management.
• Must have valid driver's license and safe driving record.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 100% review and follow up on work orders in YARDI categorized as Life, Health, Safety (LHS).
• Ensure daily status updates and notes for LHS work orders with the Service Center.
• Review contractor work orders for LHS and emergency tasks; verify photos and notes are uploaded.
• Document and communicate quality findings to Facilities management as needed.
• Inspect work against industry standards and ensure workmanship quality.
• Coordinate with FM/FD and service partners; input data accurately in Yardi.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
