Job Responsibilities

1. Ensure that incoming parts, in-process production, and shipped products fulfill all quality requirements.
2. Visually inspect materials, parts, and products at different production stages; record observations and suggest process improvements.
3. Inspect for structural flaws, internal defects, or missing welds; accept, reject, or request rework of defective units.
4. Maintain and apply quality standards for receiving, in-process, and final inspection.
5. Walk, sit, stand, and climb stairs as required.
6. Perform repetitive hand, arm, and finger motions with dexterity.
7. Use vision and hearing abilities to discern details, colors, tones, and volumes.
8. Lift or carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
9. Work outdoors, exposed to temperature variations, sun, rain, or snow.
10. Occasionally handle fumes, hazardous chemicals, or materials; loud noises.
11. Ensure safety and security of personnel and property.
12. Inspect, handle, or transport explosives or hazardous materials.
13. Inspect structures, equipment, or vehicles; perform aviation-related duties.
14. Operate or supervise vehicles, heavy or dangerous equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance.
• High School Diploma or GED; typically 5+ years relevant experience.
• Relevant education or experience substitution acceptable.
• Ability to interpret technical schematics, drawings, and geometric tolerances.
• Extensive experience with finished goods inspection.
• Experience with Costpoint and/or AEGIS-MES.
• Understanding of material flow, drafting work instructions, and SOPs.
• Proficient with Network+, Security+, CCNA, and/or A+ certifications.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS 9100 standards.
