Job summary

Brasstech is seeking a Quality Control II in Santa Ana, CA to perform quality inspections on materials and components, interpret drawings, and ensure conformance to standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–4 years of QA inspector experience, blueprint reading, and proficiency with measurement tools, Word and Excel, plus strong English communication. This on-site position offers growth opportunities within the Brasstech quality team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred but not required.
• 2–4 years experience as a Quality Inspector.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Knowledge of measurements and precision measuring tools.
• Basic computer skills (Word and Excel).
• Good oral and written communication in basic English.

Responsibilities

• Inspects incoming materials against color standards.
• Verifies that product is free of visual defects.
• Interprets engineering blueprints and drawings.
• Performs dimensional inspection of incoming product according to drawings and inspection plans.
• Completes quality inspection reports including non-conforming material reports.
• Performs 1st Article inspection.
• Notifies the production supervisor of quality issues and non-conformances.
• Identifies and segregates non-conforming material.
• Performs housekeeping activities in the production area.
• Adheres to and promotes all company safety rules and requirements.
