Job summary

Core Laboratories is seeking a Quality Inspector I to perform inspections of incoming, in-process, and finished parts, ensuring conformance to drawings and specifications. You will use calipers, micrometers, and gauges, record results, and help identify nonconforming materials.

Collaboration with production, engineering, and quality teams is essential for maintaining product quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• 1–2 years minimum quality inspection experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Basic knowledge of measuring and inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, gauges).
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specifications, and work instructions to understand inspection requirements.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections using approved methods and tools.
• Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation and records.
• Identify nonconforming materials and notify relevant personnel.
• Assist with NCR processing and tracking as directed.
• Support investigations by gathering inspection data and related information.
• Follow quality procedures and document control requirements.
• Communicate findings to supervisors and team members.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
