Job summary

KMC Controls is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Process Inspector to support product quality through receiving, in-process, first-piece, and final inspections. You will verify that materials, components, assemblies, and finished products meet drawings, specifications, workmanship standards, and documentation before moving to production or shipment.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, BOMs, and quality records; using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools;

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret part drawings, BOMs, work instructions, quality standards, revision levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, in-process, first-piece, final, and special inspections per drawings and specs.
• Verify dimensions, workmanship, labeling, packaging, quantities, and revisions with accuracy.
• Document inspection results and quality records in approved systems.
• Identify and segregate nonconforming material to prevent use or shipment.
• Support containment, root-cause investigation, corrective actions, and supplier quality efforts.
