Job summary

Noveon Magnetics in San Marcos, Texas, is seeking a QC Inspector to join the production team. You will perform visual and instrument-based quality checks on materials and products, record results, and help ensure compliance with quality standards throughout manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Technical proficiency with relevant testing equipment and methodologies.
• Analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO).
• Basic understanding of SPC is preferred.
• Good communication and teamwork across departments.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and physical checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to identify defects or non-conformances.
• Use testing equipment to measure dimensions, weight, composition and functionality within tolerances.
• Record inspection results and analyze data trends using SPC methods.
• Regularly check and calibrate measuring instruments to maintain accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of inspection findings and communicate issues to relevant personnel.
• Follow established quality standards and work instructions to ensure consistency in quality checks.

What You’ll Be Doing

We Are Looking For Someone Who

• Has a high school diploma or equivalent qualification.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to pass a drug screening, medical physical and, if applicable, visual testing.
• Able to move up to 50lbs.
• Can wear PPE.
• Comfortable standing for long periods of time, up to and exceeding 60 minutes.
• Is capable of making repetitive movements including, but not limited to, sitting, squatting and walking up and down stairs.
