Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform quality checks on the production floor for plastic pipe and fittings. You will evaluate samples, assist with physical tests, inspect in process and finished products, use calipers and other hand tools, and distribute test reports.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, about 1 year of related experience, ability to read manuals, strong written and verbal communication, MS Office, and the ability to

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals and directions.
• Strong verbal and written communication; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates samples of incoming materials.
• Assists with and performs physical tests on plastic pipe and fittings.
• Inspects pipe and fittings during processing and in finished form.
• Uses saws to cut test samples.
• Distributes test reports as necessary.
• Uses hand measurement tools such as calipers and dial gauges.
• Performs quality control line checks.
• Pulls samples from the floor.
