Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Inspector to perform quality checks on the PVC pipe production floor. You will evaluate samples, assist with tests, and inspect products during processing and final stages.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, at least 1 year of related experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good written/verbal communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year related experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand equipment manuals.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates samples of incoming materials.
• Assists with and performs physical tests on plastic pipe and fittings.
• Inspects plastic pipe and fittings while in process and finished stages.
• Uses saws to cut test samples.
• Distributes reports and tests as necessary.
• Uses hand measurements tools including calipers and dial gauges.
• Performs quality control line checks.
• Pull samples from floor.
• Other duties related to the job as needed.
