Job description

THIS IS FOR GRAVEYARD SHIFT – starts at 10:00pm

Summary:
Performs a variety of inspection procedures to ensure quality levels at various stages of manufacturing meet or exceed standards. Supports organizational goals in achieving total customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect in-process or finished production assemblies and sub-assemblies for conformance to quality assurance standards.
  • Work from blueprints, engineering change notices, or established operating procedures to determine acceptance, rejection, or rework requirements of a part.
  • Evaluate new procedures for non-standard rest and perform special setup on new equipment.
  • Assist others in correcting or preventing deficiencies in quality or workmanship.
  • Provide work direction to other inspectors.
  • Understand customer expectations and drive actions to meet them.
  • Perform first article process.
  • Identify components.
  • Perform related work as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

Education: Secondary/High School, Certificate or Diploma.

Experience: 6+ Years, preferably in Quality.

Required Skills:

  • PCBA experience.
  • Ability to use measurement equipment.
  • Ability to read ECO/Dev instructions, build drawers, and BOMs.
  • Familiar with SMT, component identification, IPC 610 knowledge, and preferred IPC certification.
  • Experience with First Piece and First Article processes.
