Job summary

The role requires High School/GED, 5 years of advanced mechanical inspection experience, strong GD&T knowledge, ability to read assemblies, document findings, collaborate with production and QA teams, and support ISO procedures.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret complex part drawings and specifications.
• Able to document audit findings and write concise reports.
• Able to communicate with multiple levels of staff clearly.
• Able to organize priorities and manage tasks to meet deadlines.
• Able to perform basic geometry and algebra calculations for inspections.
• Able to follow procedures and participate in corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Verify conformance of purchased and in-house parts by reviewing prints and specs.
• Determine inspection tools per part print and test plan.
• Complete inspections and document measurements in test records.
• Perform visual inspections per specifications and escalate nonconformities.
• Conduct process audits and support ISO procedures.
• Lead problem-solving and corrective actions when needed.
• Coordinate daily with inspectors to ensure on-time QC tasks.
