An established industry player is seeking a Quality Control Technician to ensure compliance with welding standards and quality assurance protocols. This role involves monitoring welding procedures, performing inspections, and documenting results to maintain high-quality standards in steel bridge manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess a CWI certification and have extensive welding experience, along with strong mathematical skills for interpreting measurements. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and standards, AWS, CWB, shop drawings, weld-maps and tolerances as specified in the quality assurance manual. Inspects welded product and dimensions. Document inspections on required QC forms and drawings.
