Job summary

The DAVIS Companies seeks a Quality Control Inspector for the 3rd shift in Chelmsford, MA. The role focuses on inspecting, measuring, and testing materials to ensure compliance with established methods and standards.

You will use vision systems, micrometers, and oscilloscopes, document results, maintain DHR files, and process returned materials. Training on 2nd shift for about two weeks, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 10 PM to 6 AM.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to read specifications, procedures, and engineering drawings.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electronic test equipment.
• Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office, Oracle, and MES.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Quality Control Inspector – 3rd Shift

Shift of the Quality Control Inspector:

Monday–Friday, 10PM-6AM will need to train on 2nd for 2ish weeks

Pay Rate of the Quality Control Inspector:

18.50/hr + 15% shift differential = $21.27/hr

Responsibilities of the Quality Control Inspector:

• Inspect, measure, and test materials according to established methods and standards.
• Utilize various inspection tools such as Vision Systems, Micrometers, and Oscilloscopes.
• Document inspection and test results in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain quality documentation files including Device History Records (DHR).
• Process returned materials according to established procedures.
