Position Summary
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing QC inspections and package testing on in-process materials and finished products. The QC inspector will also ensure all policies and procedures comply with applicable FDA, state, OSHA, AATB, and ISO regulations and standards.
Essential Functions
- Performs quality control inspections on manufacturing supplies, labels, in-process materials, and sterile packed finished products.
- Performs peel testing of sterile product seals.
- Follows verbal and/or written instructions such as production traveler/batch record, work instruction, and process specifications under supervision.
- Documents non-conformances when found.
- Reports problems/issues to the Quality Control Supervisor.
- Practices Good Manufacturing Practices and inspection techniques.
- Works efficiently to meet production schedule goals.
- Follows proper safety precautions.
- Maintains organized work and lab areas.
- Verifies calibration of inspection equipment, machinery, and tools as per company policy.
- Works as a team player, open to new ideas, self-motivated, and continuously seeks to increase knowledge and value.
- Performs additional duties as assigned to maintain efficiency.
- Adheres to company policies, the Code of Conduct, and compliance regulations, completing required training and maintaining knowledge of applicable laws.
- Represents the company professionally, upholding high standards of ethical conduct and social responsibility.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferably, at least one (1) year of experience in quality control inspections.
- Ability to use standard measuring equipment (e.g., Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, etc.).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable, detail-oriented self-starter with minimal supervision.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
- Familiarity with GMP and SOPs aligned with ISO standards is a plus.
- Strong clerical and math skills.
- Flexible team player capable of working under deadlines.
- Organized with problem-solving and follow-up skills; able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Physical Demands
- Sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Regularly lifting up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds.
